I'm just wondering what everyone who is doing sibling gifts has bought? I'd like to get Eric a gift from Lily to give him when he comes to see me at the hospital, but I'm unsure what to get. So just looking for ideas.

Do you do something special like a keepsake or something fun like a new toy or something?

We did get Blake something when the twins were born. We also really encouraged people to acknowledge him when someone came to visit, because the older sibling so often gets left out. Our hospital also has sibling cakes that you can order to celebrate them becoming a big brother/sister. We did that for Blake, and he loved it. We will probably do it again this time, even though the twins will be clueless.

I hadn't even thought about that, but I have been including DD in some of the things like making a big sister shirt while we prepare. She will also get to stay for a couple days with grandma and grandpa while they are here after delivery, and she misses them terribly!

WELL We were going to get him a bike. But it got warm here and we went out and got it this past weekend. I dont know my son is so spoiled gifts dont mean much! lolHe is looking forward to meeting his baby brother though. He is so excited!

I'm so glad you posted this. I've been trying to think of what to get for Rachel and I can't think of anything right now. Hope some of you BTDT mommies can give us some good ideas!! She loves books, puzzles and games (and anything baby) so I will probably default to one of those if I don't think of a better idea.
