Default Shauna's little Kiara is here!


Kiara Lynne was born this morning at 11:01 am. She weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs! Shauna says she looks just like Tianna but much chubbier.

Everything is looking good. She's breathing on her own and eating on her own. She is in the NICU under 48 hour observation to make sure she's not going through withdrawal from the pain meds, but so far so good. Her feet look fine too so looks like there is no club foot.

Shauna is still on the epidural most likely until tomorrow when they will ween her off. She got to hold Kiara right after, but hasn't been able to go see her because of the epidural and they won't bring her up because she's in the NICU. Her DH has been doing the feedings. Shauna plans on doing some begging and pleading hoping they will bring her up tomorrow for a few minutes. Other than that, she is feeling good. She says this c-section was much easier than her last. She is just so happy that Kiara is here and healthy!

Congratulations to Shauna and her family! Glad to hear everyone is doing good! Hope she has a quick recovery and gets to hold little Kiara soon!

WOOOOOO HOOOO.....Thats so exciting!!!!! I am so happy to hear that things are going well. I wish her a speedy recovery and hopefuly they will all be home SOON!!!!
