Icon5 Pressure

Randomly I feel a bit of pressure down below. I don't really know how to describe it. My midwife asked if it felt like I needed to have a BM, but it doesn't feel like that. She didn't seem too worried, but I think it feels kinda weird. I don't think it could be the baby because she's been breech for awhile now. Any ideas?

Could it be her feet?? I remember when my son was breech I could feel his head in my ribs and his feet in my pelvic area. Do you know what breech positon she is in? Kaden was at 1st Franklin and then he became Footling and that is when his feet were pushing like crazy. I remember one of the appts before I had my c-section that the doc could actually feel his feet when she checked me. Also is the pressure more of a throbbing sensation?? Just curious??

It doesn't feel like kicks. It's more constant & consistent. I would say "throbbing" would pretty accurately describe it. I've just recently started feeling it the last few days.

Okay, so without getting graphic on you....have you looked at your neither regions?? That is when I knew something was up with mine because I had this constant throbbing in my vaginal area and finally broke down and looked and that is when I noticed it was the varicose veins. I had never felt that sort of pressure/pain with any of my other pregnancies and when I saw where the pain/pressure/throbbing was coming from I was like...now that is why I had never felt that sensation before was because I had never gotten varicose veins down there with any of my previous pregnancies. Do you seem to notice the pressure more when you are standing or if you have been on your feet for a while? Not sure if that is the area that is hurting or not, but just thought I would through that out there.

I've been feeling a lot of pressure these past couple weeks as well. I have an appointment on Tuesday and that is on my list of things to talk about with the OB. It doesn't really feel like I have to have a BM, it's just a constant pressure. I thought I was going into this pregnancy feeling like a pro because I had already done it once, but this little girl is throwing everything that I never felt with my ds at me, lol. I hope that's not an indicator of things to come. I would definitely talk to your OB about it and if it continues to get worse then give them a call, especially since you've already been in L&D once already. As far as her position, not sure how that factors in really. I'm convinced that my little one is breech, and I've been having a lot of pressure. I guess I will find out on Tuesday!
Hope it eases up foryou !

I get lots of pressure on and off too but I know it’s due to this little ones position. I have been in many times regarding it as it ends up not only pressure but cramping and then contractions. She has always been low and just never seemed to like to move as she found her "comfee" spot and is a suborn little girl just like her momma. So depending on how she wiggles and if I have been standing for a period of time the pressure does build and I end up having to actually lay down to have it ease off a bit. BUT she is defiantly head down and way way down soooo I know that’s why I have these feelings and they really are not like a BM pressure either, its very hard to describe but at times all my lower bits feel it.

Good luck and keep us posted.....I am curious as to what causes all of us to feel this with the baby in such different positions.

Is your midwife sure she is still breech?!?! It sounds like maybe she flipped and is head down -- OR is she full breech -- could her butt be moving down further?!?!

Good luck....I have felt a lot of pressure, as well. The baby has definitely become more comfortable lower than where it was before -- and that causes more pressure (and more BH).

Hang in there -- we're almost there!!

I have no clue, but I liked the suggestion that she might just have changed her position and now is head down...
