Well since i have a few i will type up our story..... which was JUST ammazing. couldnt ask for a better birth.
5/28 - we left about 2ish and got there 3ish.....
we meant the nurses ...filled out forms.... got the down low....and waited on the cervical.
at about Id say...6ish they inserted the cervical. Which reguarded me to be in bed like 2 hours and no food at all threw the whole process..... So, they started the iv. (man the ive stinks!!!!) But because the cervical is a string..... you have to stay put..... i wasonly 2 cm dialated at this point.
At 9ish i got the the out of bed card. whew. peed and we went for a walk. I was hoping to still go into labor on my own. lol.... Never happened. At like 8 they started the antibiotics...and i would get it every 6 hours til baby. (and they sucked...made me illl and hurt going into my arm
)
SO, we went to sleep.... in the am the cervical came out... not really a change in dialation. They hooked me up to pitconabout 10:20 and the contractions came shortly after that... But 11 or so I had my epi....
So, I waited.
At 4 i was still only 5 cm dialated and the doctor was getting concerned about babys heart rate. Kept dipping with my contractions
So, they had to pull me off the pitocen. She really was saying if it didnt get better she would do a c section
I was upset.
So about an hour went by.... and they put the pitocen back on... at half. And As soon as this happened..... his heart dipped again. My husband got changed into scrubs... cause he was worried :Teehee ANd as he was changing... i was like i need to push!!!! lol And the nurse cam and was like.... huh? I am like seriously i need to push. lol She cehcked me. she said you feel done to me... let me go get the doctor. She came in checked and was like no she is a six...And was like...just give it a few more minutes... heart rate isnt good. So.... she looked at me and I was like
So next one. I was like HOLY COW.... And I told the nurse again i need to push. lol This was like 2 contractions while they all prepared to move me for csection.
Anyway... finally the nurse was like let me see.... She was like wow his head is right there... Give me a push. lol So, i did.... the next contractions... and she was like... ok wait let me get the doctor! lol The doctor came is.... check and was like oh yeah... get her to do a few pushes. lol DOctor left.... Then I did another push,.,, and the nurse ran out again and got the doct
The doctor came back.... And i pushed for her she still wasnt convinced no cesection! lol
Then i pushed for her and she SCREAMED... heather stop pushing! lol And that quick she yelled for her assitance to switch the table and change her! lol It was like an episode of greys. She was changing and i was like I NEED to push!
Which i did. But they time she was ready i think i did 3 or 4 good pushes for her and he was out! Boorn 6:09 pm
Weight 8lbs and 20 inched long. APgars... 8 and 9.
It was so much better than my first. They took him out and put him onmy chest! I kept saying this was so amazing and thanking everyone!
But then after i delivered the placenta. I couldnt stop bleeding... clots were coming out. My blood pressure dropped. I got all this medicine to stop bleeding and my pressure... i was freezing. They gave me the baby to bf.... but as i started... i was puking. lol Yes on him!
(well i turned my so on his blankets. lol) I puked a lot at night from all the meds...SO YOU GOT IT... no food again that night!
I couldnt bf that night..... And really he is has been supplemeting and I think I probably decided not to bf.... I mean it is just a lot easier for us. I mean as it is he is getting ever other one a bottle since he has been home. Cause my milk hasnt come in yet. I may try.... But I am not too worried. I think I may just formula feed. Esp since he has jaudice...the docs say the formula help that.
