Default Over doing it.

Last week I had my Dr. apt. on Wed. I took the kids & we had lunch w/ my parents after, then went shopping so I could find some pants that fit. Then the hour drive home & I was a wreck. Really sore in the lower abdomen & having BH - very irregular & none closer that 30 min. But they were stronger than BH I've had before. So, Wed night, all day Thu. & Friday morning I was lying on the couch & doing as little as possible but I was still terribly sore. I called the Drs. office & they thought I should get checked - so Hubby came home & we bundled up the kids & set out in the snow (roads were lousy!) The Dr. checked my cervix & all was as it should be but he said I may keep feeling this way for the rest of the pg. Yikes!
Thankfully I started feeling better on Sat. & still tried to do things slowly & not work too much for the rest of the weekend.
Yesterday I went shopping - I really needed to & the weather was actually going to be decent so I gave it a try. I'm feeling sore this morning, so I guess I'm going to be paying for it today. I feel like I've got no right to complain, but I kinda wanted to test it out & try to keep up with my usual workload. I guess I've learned, now.
Sorry for the whining - just feeling frustrated.... Thanks for listening, guys!

I've been dealing with similar issues, since I am the only one here to take care of things, I easily over-do it. Afterwards, I just take a few days and relax and drink lots of water, and the bh and uncomfortableness fade away.

I think have 2 kiddos around like you do as well it makes it very easy to over do it. So much of daily life falls into the Mommy category and by the end of the day you are exhausted, tired, cranky, and hurting. Just try to rest when you can and make a little down time for yourself. Hope you get to feeling better soon!! Hey maybe a trip to get a prenatal massage can help. Treat yourself!!! If not to a massage then to a warm bath with no interruptions!! or Ice cream also does the trick for me too:-)

Awww....I am sorry you are going through this.....it’s so hard....I have been struggling with what you described EXACTLY for almost a month now. It’s so hard when your body does not co-operate with you. Good luck and take it as easy as possible.

I do the same thing. My mind wants to do all kinds of stuff, and I think my body's on par until the next day when I can barely move. So I repeat the cycle every other day! mostly because I can't quiet my mind and sit around doing nothing all the time. I really can't wait until it's just me in this body and I can run around and work as much as I want!

But it is nice to relax once in a while and have an excuse

That would be frustrating to not be able to do what you need or want to do. I hope you are feeling better. I can completely understand wanting to try shopping again, just holding on to the hope that you are in charge of your body .

I'm so sorry you are not feeling well, try to rest as much as you can, I know it is hard having the kids and everything else to worry about...
