yes I got sick too--I just called my sister in law who is a nurse in Africa and asked her if there are any risks with having a fever so late in pgcy--she just said "oh it will put you into labor thats all" b/c your body won't fight a virus and deal with carrying a pgcy at the same time--lovely I feel like CRAP ...puked and the works tonight -- something not enviable at 9mths pg!!! I got my fever down but now am totally sweating-ugh!!!

When I was pg w/ Sam I got sick a couple of weeks before he was born and all I could think about was that the last thing I wanted to do was go through labor like that! DH's cousin, on the other hand, was not so lucky...she got sick and she did end up in labor.So, I guess it can happen either way- but I am definitely hoping that labor WON'T be a s/e of this sickness for you!

Rest up and take it easy...I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope for the best for you!

s I got the flu at lik 35.5 with DS and was feeling a bit better, but not compleatly well, by 36 wks, but it put me into labor at exactly 36wks. I probably would have been fine, but my OB wasn't on call, so the on call OB stopped it, and my OB said she wouldn't have. So it does happen. Anyway I hope you feel better, and can get things going as soon as everyone is well.

OH no! I hope you get over it soon. I was very sick the night I had Max. Puking, fever...the works. It was AWFUL! Puking and having super strong contractions while a guy is trying to put an epidural in is something I never want to experience ever again.
Turns out I had an infection in my uterus that was making me so sick. Hope you just have a virus that goes away soon!

Well I feel pretty crappy--yes its a virus as my entire family had it. Serious cough, fever, throwing up etc. Anyway--this is a first for me but I just started losing my mucous plug!!! never have lost it before---so we'll see how long she stays inside!

I'm sorry! I keep praying the illnesses are gone for our family for the season, we got hit with the flu really hard, and then a month later--strep! There is nothing worse than being sick and pregnant--NOTHING!
