Nursing Tanks
So I realized that I need to start thinking about getting some nursing bras/tanks in the next couple of weeks. I was looking at the Bravado nursing tanks. I am a 36 DD right now so I am figuring I will be a 36 E/F by the time of nursing. Has anyone used these tanks before? I was also recommended GlamourMom Tanks but I was not sure if those would be supportive enough.

Re: Nursing Tanks
I don't know about them at all. I have tanks with built in sports bras, and that is what I am already using. One more thing to add to my list of must gets. Would like to hear of others experiences and what the differences are in the various brands.

Re: Nursing Tanks
I just got my first nursing tank at Target. Haven't tried it out yet. Good luck finding one that works for you!

Re: Nursing Tanks
I've never used the Bravado Tank, but have used the Bravado nursing bras and I loved them. I'll also we curious to hear feedback on the tanks. Those will be nice to use since it will be summer.

Re: Nursing Tanks
I have never heard of them! I used Liz Lange ones from Target last time. I am normally a 36 DD but go to a 38DD when I am pregnant/ nursing. My tanks didn't give me as much support as I would have liked but I only wore them in the beginning layered under clothes (then I bought a bunch of nursing shirts) and I wore them to sleep every night for 10 months. I'd love to hear some feedback about them!

Re: Nursing Tanks
I've only used the nursing tanks from Target. I liked the "IDEA" but they didn't cut it for me...they are super short in the waist (granted I'm 5'11...) but they shrunk big time in the wash...rrr I found them frustrating. I'm actually hoping to find some ATTRACTIVE nursing bras this time....if anyone has ideas I've head great things about the glamourmom tanks but again I don't think they'd be as long in the waist as I would like.

Re: Nursing Tanks
I had heard that the Target nursing tanks were not all that supportive and they are short. Though I am short so that should not matter. Well I may order a Bravado tank for now since I need something to sleep in and then order one in a bigger cup size for later. Now I just need to get myself measured...

Re: Nursing Tanks
I've never used them. I don't think I could even fit in one. DH measured me yesterday because I am going to buy a sleep bra. Well get this the girls have grown a bit. I am now a 44 H. EEEKKKK
What I do is wear a larger white tee-shirt and just pull up my shirt to nurse. With the extra material it covers my overlarge belly and doesn't make me feel too exposed. I also use a white thin blanket over my shoulder. Not necessarily completly cover the baby, But it does give us some privacy. Oh and I have nursed in some very public places like this with no problems.

Re: Nursing Tanks
I just purchased a Bravado nursing bra last week. My regular bras were making my boobs hurt, so I went ahead and got a new nursing bra. So far I really like it. I tried on several of the different kinds of bras that they had and ended up with the Body Silk Seamless one. This one actually looked like a bra instead of a sports bra, plus it's really comfy.

I wanted to try something from Target, but haven't been able to find them in the stores. Where about in the store are you finding nursing bras and tanks?

Re: Nursing Tanks
Brandi- in my Target they are off to one side of the nightgown area (on an endcap) between that section and the purse section. It is a very small selection though. They had a couple of nursing nightgowns and some nursing bras & tanks. They are all packaged and you could easily miss them if you are not looking for them. Good luck!

Re: Nursing Tanks
Brandi, I remember the package being pink and clear too, if that helps. At least they were last year when I bought them!

Re: Nursing Tanks
janice- I am 6'2" so I totally understand the frustration of short waisted tops. So when I read this post my interest peaked, So taller ladies, here's what I found:
Amazon.com: Glamourmom LONG Nursing Tank, Many Colors: Apparel
Mamalama Wear - LONG Nursing Tank Tops
there was also a target one called O'Malleys or something, but a lot of people said it shrank like crazy the first time they used it

Re: Nursing Tanks
I tried on a nursing tank from Target the other day and it was not comfortable at all!!! I am gonna go by Motherhood this weekend and see what they have. I heard that Victoria Secret is selling nursing bras now, but I can't spend $45 on a bra!!
