I've had two nose bleeds so far this morning, not overly bad ones, but two nose bleeds regardless. Has anyone else expierenced these?? I've never had them before, and I'm not sure if it's something I should be worrying about. I'm going to try and see if I can find some infor on them being common in pregnancy, before I break down and call the doctor.

Anyone else had expierence with nose bleeds??

I haven't had any....yet......but I do think I remember reading somewhere that they are common during pregnancy!

Yep, I've only ever had two nose bleeds in my life and that was a few weeks ago. It's pretty common during pregnancy. I am still finding some blood in the mornings when I wake up, but not an all out bloody nose like before.

I have not had them but I have read before that is common in pregnancy.
It's probably is made worse by the dry winter air.

I can't remember why exactly, but nose bleeds are definitely much more common during pregnancy. I've never had them any other time, but with both of my pregnancies, I've had several. It's also pretty common to have more problems with them this time of year. The cold dry air plus having the heat on dries out all your skin, including nasal passages. If it continues to be a problem, using a humidifier in your room at night might help. Unless the nose bleed is severe and/or you can't seem to get it to stop, I wouldn't be concerned.

PLEASE do not worry..nose bleeds are very very common. I taste blood almost every morning. It has something to do with the blood vessels becoming enlarged during pregnancy and now that the weather is cold and dry it makes things worse. My suggested rubbing vaseline on my nose and using saline drops.

I too, have heard that they are very common during pregnancy. It is also much drier in the winter. I hope they stop for you soon.

They are common during pregnancy and especially since it's the dry winter-time.

It helps me to put some vaseline or aquaphor in my nostrils to keep things moist.
