New to Board

Hi! This will be the first time I've ever used a message board! Would you mind if I joined your group? I am due May 26th, but I my doctor 'penciled in' an induction for the 12th. I don't know how to use all the functions of this board, so please bear with me. And I've been reading about all of you for like a month! Finally, I thought to myself, okay, I really need to join and gain your support because all of you are so supportive and great to each other. I hope to support all of you as well!

Thanks so much for the welcome! I can't sleep tonight because I'm having some pretty bad contractions but I can't tell if they are the real deal or not because they are coming like every 5 to 7 minutes instead of a consistent and reliable EVERY 5. But I want to be careful because I'm still kind of early...... so if it doesn't calm down in the next hour I am going to call my OB. Oh, maybe this is TMI but I DTD with hubby around eleven, but I never had any contractions from it before.....I guess there's a first for everything.

hmmm... keep an eye on them, try to rest, relax, maybe a nice shower, either they will go away or they will make you make that call!! kup!

well, the contractions subsided, thank goodness. i didn't call because i recognized the contractions as not on a regular 'schedule' even though i could actually feel some pressure and tugging at my cervix.
