Im not sure what to think or what to do. I have never had this with any of my other pg's. Im hoping someone here will have some advice. Today I am 34 weeks 6 days. I woke up this morning a little energized so I was trying to clean up the house a little, because tomorrow we are having my ds 5th b-day party. Well around 2:30 I felt a little sore so I took a bath a tried to relax and lay down for a bit. My dd called to pick her up around 4 so I packed the 2 little ones in the car and left. At that time I felt horrible, just really achy and cranky, I felt like I was coming down with something. Usually when I lay down for a bit I feel really good, so I was really surprised how I felt. So anyways I got home around 4:30 and started getting real crampy and had tons of pressure. The cramps actually felt worse then period cramps, more like the severe cramps I had when I miscarried. It was all in my lower back to. Also my who who is pulsating, throbbing, and feels like severe needles are going in and out of it. Its been pretty constant and its whether I am walking or sitting. I started getting a little paranoid because I wasnt really feeling her move, but then all of a sudden she started moving a little but not as much as she usually does. I keep getting the urge to sit on the potty every couple minutes and everytime I do i will potty a little bit. I have been stressed out the past 4 days because dh and I have been arguing and I still need a ton of stuff for this little one. I just dont know if I should go in or try and go to bed and see if it subsides. Its just very very uncomfortable and I am very very irratated. TIA for any help.

I would go in and get checked out. Better safe than sorry truly is a good motto to follow when pg. Are you having any contractions?

I'm sorry, i've never experienced that either. I would definitely go get checked too, just in case. Have you been drinking lots of water? I hope you are feeling better very soon. Please keep us posted. (((Hugs)))

I have had pulsating feeling before but it really didnt hurt. I would go and get checked just to be safe. I hope you feel better soon and be sure to keep us updated.

Hi girls, well I am still here. The pain lasted until 1:30. It was getting worse and worse by the minute. I constantly had to go the bathroom and very little was coming out. I started thinking about it and I thought maybe it was a bladder infection. I have had them before but nothing like last night, the only thing I rememebr about them was my urine burning. If I really had to describe it it was like I was going to go into labor because it hurt so bad. My younger sister gets bladder infections bad so she is coming to ds b-day party and I am going to ask her about it. Also I looked it up in a couple of my books and it said it was called lightening, the baby engaging, the first stage of beginning labor. Every syptom that was in the book I had. I started getting contractions 3 minutes apart but they didnt last long. My best friend said as long as you are feeling the baby and your water dont break I can just wait to see, so thats what I did. I finally fell asleep even though I kept waking all night. The pain eased up quite a bit last night. Well then today I woke up and started feeling like I did earlier yesterday so I am going to try real hard to take it easy today. I know its gonna be hard to do we have like 60 people coming over today and its just immediate family. Also my sil just called her girlfriend just had a baby yesterday and she said she had the exact same thing as me and she went in the next day. Well I will update if anything changes. Thanks for the input.

It does sound like labor to me, with a possible accompanying bladder infection. The good news is a 35 week baby will do just fine! My labor was all back labor!

I had something similar happen to me with my last child - I went to the hospital and the dr released me and told me to "sleep it off." The nurses kept saying "see ya tomorrow!" and indeed they were right, I checked in the next afternoon and had my baby He was born at 36 weeks.

Just wanted to update real quick. It was crazy here yesterday there were so many people. The party was nice but Im glad its over. Now in 2 weeks I have my dd's Confirmation and party. I had alot of contractions pretty much through out the day but they tapered off and they didnt really have a pattern. I am still getting tons of pressure and the pinching. This morning I think I started losing my plug, its all yellow and snotty looking (sorry thats gross). Also my inner legs up top keep feeling like they have charlie horses in them. Its so weird that with all my pgs I dont remember all this stuff. I think its gonna be real soon. I have to go drop my kids off and do some running around so I will check back in later. Thanks again!!!
