My surprise baby shower!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday evening I went over to my friends house for dinner with a few other friends cos our other halves are all in florida for a bachelor weekend. Turns out it wasn't dinner, they were throwing me a baby shower!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was sooo cool!!!!

I couldn't understand what was going on when I walked in and all these cameras were pointed at me! Lol
This is how sneaky they were, they knew if I saw things being bought off my registry that I'd know they were planning something, so they created another registery under a fake name and copied the same things I had on mine!!!!!! I would have nevr thought of that in a million years!
We got co much great stuff : stroller, car seat frame, highchair, exersaucer, tub, bath stuff, towels, blankets, bottles. Bottle warmer, play mat, clothes the list goes on and on! I was overwhelmed with how much we got!
As it was a surprise I didn't have my camera with me but hopefully some of the girls wil email me pics later so I can post them here
Oh yeah the fake name they used was Ava Taylor, a name I got on some website that generates baby names based on ur and ur partners names. I really liked the name but dh didn't at all. I'd told the girls about it one day at lunch and they decided to use that for the registry. So sneaky!!! Lol

How sweet! You obviously have WONDERFUL friends. They had to be organized to pull that one off so efficiently. I'm all into strollers right now with spring coming around. What kind of stroller did you want?

That sounds GREAT! I don't know that I would have come up with the idea for a fake registry...but what a great way to keep you off track!

That is so awesome, and hilarious about the fake baby registry!! What great friends, and they sound like lots of fun too. I'm glad you had such a wonderful shower. Can't wait to see your pics. And btw, I loved the name Ava too, but my Dh didn't care for it either.

I surprised everyone at my baby shower by having the baby 3 days before it!!!
