My mom lives a million of miles away from me and still manages to find a way to make me so angry. Anyway I need to back track just a little when I found out I was pregnant with Gideon my mom told me that my Aunt stepsons wife was pregnant too. ( I think I worded that right lol). Anyway today my mom informs be that our family finally got a little girl. WTH shes not even blood and why would she want to rub it in. I just replied oh thats nice. Why cant she be happy with 4 of the sweetest little boys in the world? Anyways I just needed to vent lol. Poor dh is going to hear a huge vent when he gets home lol.

I'm sorry your mom is being like that. She's obviously not thinking about what she's saying before it comes out of her mouth. And besides your family already has a girl. YOU!!!! Next time she says something like that just remind her of that!

I'm so sorry she said that to you. And I can see why it would feel hurtful no matter how many millions of miles away you are. (((hugs))) I completely hear you on the mom stuff. Mine just left for the weekend, and I am exhausted from trying to bite my tongue the whole time. Whew!

You have adorable, handsome little guys there who are a wonderful part of your family. You are right to completely appreciate them. They are lucky to have such a great mom! ((hugs))

Yeah, my mom says stuff like that all the time well knowing it hurts. But I bet I can top your story if it makes you feel any better. Instead of visiting me in the hospital and seeing her new granddaughter my Mom said she didn't want to come down and see the new baby at all but COULD SHE HAVE 1500 DOLLARS FOR HIP SURGERY FOR HER DOG?? Really, she asked me for 1500 dollars AND said that she didn't want to come cause she didn't want to and didn't feel like it. Now, I hope that made you feel better, at least. Moms can really suck. Oh yeah, i said HELL NO to the dog surgery.
