Well I finally got there this am for it. The weather wasnt too bad. YUCK. The drink wasnt that bad. ORANGE... BUT the waiting an hour SUCKED... I was so dizzy... cause i didnt eat. And she said i could have.... So keep your fingers cross i pass... I dont want to have to do that agian.... YUCK!

I hear ya. I did mine this AM too and didn't get breakfast before. Didn't feel too bad, but it was just too sweet! Hoping to hear on Friday if I passed or not.

Good luck! I am glad you finally got it done. I actually didn't mind the drink. I was a little worried sitting in the lab fro 3 hours with all the sick people coming in. One kid had the flu, another was getting a throat culture for strep, another was coughing like crazy and getting a chest x-ray and there were a few more coughers. I thought, great place for a pregnant woman lol.

SAFE to going home.

mmm...well the urse called.... my heart dropped... but it was more for the iron... iguess they want me to take otc iron... I think NOT.... Iron really constipates me... and well... i am already having that problem! lol I asked about the gluclose one but she didnt know... she just said if the doctor didnt mention anything then probably it was okay... whew. SO, I am hoping all is well with that. I probably will get yelled at though for not taking iron... but oh well.... i will just up my red meat eating....lol Plus I had ran out of prenatals... anddidnt take it the day prior..... and i hadnt eaten before they drew my blood... so i am thinking that has more to do with it.... lol

Yuck, I hated the glucose test too. Mine was lemon-lime this time, and it was NASTY!! I hope I passed too. I can't even imagine drinking that crapola again. Here's hoping we all pass!
