Today I went and picked up Mariah's carseat! I was so excited DH was laughing at me, saying he had never seen anyone so excited about a carseat. But then I explained to him now we are totally ready for her, everything is set up, organized, washed, and packed. He understood a little more. I work in the NICU so I see babies come early all the time, so I have been stressed out that we arent completely ready! Because if she came now I would want to spend all my time with her, and wouldnt have time to be getting things ready. How is everyone else coming along? Anything else you desperately need before the baby arrives? I cant believe some of us are full term or really close already!

Oh and I forgot to mention when I picked it up I just happen to stop in the store since I was passing by and ask when it would be in because it had been a long time. The lady looked in the computer and said "oh it's been here for a few weeks, no one called you?" I was like no, then she said oh we have been having problems getting in touch with our customers. (Maybe because you dont call them, lol)

LAUGH about the excuse about not calling. Thats sooo exciting you are all ready!!!! I am slowly getting stuff FINALY....but I have a long way to go....LOL...I hope I can get it all done. hehehe

That's great you are ready! I still have nothing. No crib, no carseat, NOTHING! And no baby shower planned, but SO keeps telling me not to go buy anything cuz he "has it all planned" I made some calls today though, and I get to pick up my carseat mext Monday! One less thing to worry about.

yay, glad you got your carseat today. However, sorry they did not call you to let you know it had arrived. I decided to get mine out of the box yesterday and I finally got it installed into my car. I felt much better knowing that I could get all 3 Britax carseat installed in my 2nd row in my Pilot. I really have mostly everything done that the baby needs so I should be okay in that department. However, I do have 2 showers coming up so that will be fun to see what we get. I still need to finishing packing my bag for the hospital and a few things like that, but right now I feel pretty good about what we've gotten done.

Yay! I was so excitied when I got my travel system. My sister & mom were getting it for me and I kept hassling them to get it. My sister kept asking what I was going to do with it after I got it. I said I would practice pushing it and putting a doll in and out of it
