I had my 36 week appointment and ultrasound yesterday! I was really excited about getting another ultrasound, but was a little disappointed when we didn't get any real good peeks at her! She's getting too big; I could hardly tell what anything we were looking at was until the u/s tech TOLD me what it was! LOL I would post the pics, but like I said, they weren't that great. Still fun to see her though!
Her estimated weight is 5 lbs 15 oz, which they said was kinda on the lower side. They said based on her measurements, she's only in the 50th percentile of other babies at her gestational age! She has long legs and a lot of hair on her head though! They told us that we might end up having a petite little thing with long legs! We are so surprised....since my husband is 6'6 and I'm 5'9....we thought we were gonna have a tank of a baby! Who knows, guess we will know for sure once she is born.
The bummer thing is that I tested + for GBS.
I know it's not that big of a deal, but still....just another thing for me to worry about.
Next week, they're gonna start checking my cervix. If I'm progressing at all, my midwife says he'll strip my membranes. He told me this before I found out I tested + for GBS, so I'm not for sure if he's still planning on doing it.
From what I've read, you shouldn't have your membranes stripped if you're GBS +.
I still haven't felt any contractions or BH, that I know of.....so who knows when this baby plans on coming!!
