I have been feeling sooo bad and have been in sooo much pain this last few months BUT with in the last 3 to 4 days I have felt better then ever and have had this massive energy burst!!!! It’s so crazy!!!! I have done some much around the house and its like things are calling to me......my house looks better then it ever has and Mackenzie’s room is all set up and her last load of cloths are in the dryer as we speak. I am sooo excited.

I have cleaned like a mad woman, had the carpets steam cleaned, rearranged the living room, organized pretty much every room and got rid of lots of junk, found a change table / dresser combo on Craig’s list, set up my Amby bed, arranged the nursery how I like for now, and washed all the baby cloths.......its truly crazy.

I still have a few things left to do but I am sure they will be done by mid week. My mom is now panicking and said Mackenzie is going to be arriving SOON....I think she is crazy but in a way I hope she is right!!!

Is this normal? I truly have not felt this good the whole PG.....its been so nice to feel good even if its for a short time....I do not want this feeling to end!!! Is there truth to the "old wives tail" that when this happens the baby is going to arrive soon?

It’s an odd feeling....I can not explain it other then I am so compelled to get everything done....I just simply have to do it. My DH keeps telling me to rest but I can not seem to sit still.

HOLY MAN....I can not wait to meet our little girl!!!

Sounds like you are nesting like crazy!! I have a feeling Mackenzie is getting ready to make her grand entrance!! Sounds like you got tons of things accomplished. Congrats on getting everything in order. Brace yourself...sounds like you just might be a Mommy soon!! How exciting!!!! Do you have an appt this week?? You are weekly now right?

that is the whole "nesting" thing everyone talks about. Some women do it days before delivery others weeks. Not much longer. Try to rest some though. I nested really bad the day my last dd was born. Cleaned, organized, ran errands, ect. then later that night my water broke, and I labored all night. I was wiped out for a couple weeks from the blood loss, and lack of sleep, before and after she was born. So try to get some rest in, b/c you never know when the big day/ or night will come.

HEHEHE.....I am sooo excited to hear this!!! It’s such an odd feeling. I am trying to rest too.....but balancing is hard.

YEPPERS....I am on weekly apt now....I have one tomorrow morning and can not wait to see if there has been any progression I will keep you all posted.

I still can NOT believe I am going to truly be a mom soon.....EEEEEEE sooo exciting

How exciting!!! That sounds like nesting for sure! I have noticed my desire for all things to be clean/done really starting to kick in the past few days. I still have a lot to do but it's coming along and I feel like doing more than I have felt like doing in a long time!

Hopefully it means good things for you (and me...in a couple of weeks that is!) in the near future... Just remember to try and balance those spurts of energy with periods of rest. Christin makes a good point of ending up in labor and being WAY tired while everything happens.

Sounds like nesting to me... My nurse told me that when the "energy boost" comes to utilize a bit and save a bit..because like Christin says - you will need the energy for labour.

Isn't nesting fun?! It's so nice to finally have some energy after feeling so tired for so long!
Over a week ago, I think it kicked in for me. That's when we decided to paint the inside of our house! So that day at like 4pm we went out and bought paint, lol. Now Aspen has to wait for a couple more weeks to come because everything is SOOOO disorganized from trying to get everything painted. And it's been raining all weekend so we can't open the windows to ventilate and paint more. Hopefully this week will be better.
I did pack her hospital bag last night though, so that's ready just in case!

Oh lucky you!! I'd love some energy, I'm completely wiped out at the moment!! I go through little bursts of arranging stuff in the babys room, and I washed all the baby clothes last week but as for the rest of the house nothings gettin done at all. I look at something and think oh I need to clean that/tidy or whatever it is, and that's as far as I get lol!!! I did spend ages last night in the babys room trying to decide what way I want the furniture because I decided I don't like it the way it is now. I didn't actually move anything cos I knew Joe would kill me
Hopefully it means labor soon for you!! Keep us posted after ur check up tomorrow. Can't wait to hear!!!
