Well ladies, I am offically miserable!! Here is what happened:

Saturday at about 11 pm I started to feel stronger contractions, I started to time them, and they became stronger and regular around 2 am so I decided to call my OB, he wanted me to come into L&D. So DH and I rushed around, becuase I knew if I was dialated past 4cm. then I would be having my c-section.

Well I got to L&D and had to go through the emergency room which was so long and I was in alot of pain in my back, it seemed like all the pain of the contraction was in my back. But I got the room and got my lovley IV and an internal exam by a very nice resident!! I was 90% effaced and 1+ cm. So that was progress from what I was at my appt. Tuesday, so they put me on the monitors, and my contractions were like registering little humps, but the nurse knew that they were more intense than little humps so we moved that monitor around 20 times, URGH, again, I kept telling them my back is killing me etc. they said it was normal.

My Dr. was called becuase my contractions sped up to every 2 minutes, and he ordered me a shot of terbutaline, that spaced them out but did NOT stop the contractions so they dosed me again 2 hrs later, and I am sure any of you who know the meds make you shakey! Then I was like leaking bloddy show and all kinds of watery crap on my bed and it took them 2 internal exams and an ultrasound to try to determine if my water had broke, they never really came to a conclusion but they checked the babies fluid levels and said they were good, after contracting for 8 hrs and getting 3 doses of meds they sent me home STILLL having contractions, and put me on terbutaline 4 times a day and on strict bedrest, I am not allowed to move from the couch or bed all day unless to pee, the meds stoped all of my uterine contractions it seems, but I am still having ALOT of back pain I mean I can not sit straight up and down it hurts so bad, so here I sit waiting until tommarow to go to the Dr. all med up and having back pain, this is not so fun!!!! UGGH I just want my little boy!!!

OH gosh! What a crazy ordeal!! I'm sorry the meds aren't helping with the contractions. Hopefully they will stop soon and you can keep your litte guy in for at least another couple weeks.

Oh u poor thing!!!!! That sucks!!

How far gone do they want you to be before they take you off bedrest?

I have nine days of bed rest, not so terrible!! They want me to make it as close to 37 weeks as possible, becuase the dr. called my contractions *managable* well that is what they think.....
