Default Lily Pads

So I remember a while ago we had a thread about the lily pads nursing pads. A lot of people said that they were going to try them and I was just wondering if anybody did and how they were liking them. I saw them at the store for $20 and was thinking about trying them.

I remember that Janice got a great deal on line and purchase some. Hopefully, she can check in and give us the low down on if she likes them or not. I think there were a fews other that purchased them too so I bet they will chime in as well. I'm curious to know if they like them or not too.

I want to know too. I didn't end up buying them after all the discussion, but if they work well, I may still pick some up. I hate going through so many of the disposable ones. Thanks for posting this.

I actually have been using them this week. I really really like them! I asked the LC if they could affect my milk supply using them so early and she said that they shouldn't. She did recommend not keeping them on 24 hours. So I've been putting them on during the day and wearing pads at night. I think they work best though once your milk supply has regulated more. They leaked once when I was really engorged in the beginning, but haven't since. Also, you have to make sure that you hold a burp cloth or bib under them when you take them off because you'll have some let down then. But I love how they don't bunch up like the nursing pads. So IMO I think they are definitely something to get and use!

Ditto Brandi!

I obviously haven't used them yet this time, but LOVED them last time.

All right it is settled I am going to pick some up this week! I think I am going through as many disposable ones as we are diapers right now. Thanks ladies.

I find I'm leaking too much for them right now (I seriously have enough milk to feed a tonne of babies!!) but I really like that they don't stick to my nipples like the cotton pads do (I have some disposable ones and reusable ones....they all stick and pull...ouch). I think they'll be fabulous for when my milk supply has leveled off a bit.

I'm not leaking, but I am terribly sore. I'm sticking to my bra & the lanolin has soaked through & stained a couple shirts... Argh! I'm looking forward to turning that corner where things get easier. It's got to be soon, right?
