Default Itching as a pregnancy symptom?

During the past week or so, I've been itching all over. It happens off and on but mostly in the evenings. I am able to sleep, which is a blessing as I've had hives in my past and was completely unable to sleep or do much else because it made me so insane. I don't have a rash. I just itch! Anyone else experiencing this or know if it could be pregnancy related?? I've researched it and only come up with PUPPPs so far, which does not describe what I have.

i have been sooo itchy for about three months and took water soluble vitamin e the whole time and it did help some. but now that im almost term i have stopped because of possible bleeding risks. benadryl helps alot at night and colloidal oatmeal baths like aveeno help some too. scented creams only make it worse for me. i used strivectin lotion on all the itchy parts including my legs and this is really soothing.

I get really itchy if I don't keep my skin really moisturized. It's not too bad though.
I was going to suggest PUPPS too, I have a friend who is dealing with that right now too...but other than that I don't know what else it could be.

I had a pregnancy allergy with my firstborn. I itched so bad and got hives. I coated myself in calomine for a month and it went away as soon as he was born (talk about a huge relief). My belly itches too when new stretch marks pop up. Other than that, I have had no experience with general itchiness. Hope it gets better for you. Thank goodness we are all almost done!

I'm going to talk to my OB tomorrow and start soaking in oatmeal baths. Thank goodness this is almost over because I think the itching could be the end of me! ha!

I've always had sensitve skin and during the winter months I had really itchy skin. It's gone away with the cold weather. Now I just get itchy on my belly when it gets too stretched. Hope you find some relief!
