First i want to say sorry that this is delayed as much as it is. Its been a busy past few days. It would be even longer if my hubby wasn't writing it for me as i am feeding her right now. hehe
Refering to my last post "So it all started out as a routine U/S..." i got into a room at about 4pm and i started contractions on my own around 7pm. They weren't coming regularly but were getting stronger. At about 10pm my doctor came in and stripped my membrane (i was at a 3). She came back at about midnight and was stretchy 4 so she broke my water then gave me a little pitocin to speed things up a little.
It didn't take long for me to get to an 8 and within an hour of that i was fully dialated. Of course i had an epideral so things weren't too bad, but i could still feel a lot of pressure and still a little pain.
At 5:15am they had me start pushing her head down into position. Then at around 5:45am it went full on! It was time!! At 6:24am on May 8th, 2008...
Isabella Irene came into this world, very quietly too.

Her cries were not very loud which worried me at first but the Dr's said she was perfect. 8 out of 8!! She was 7lbs 6oz's and 20" long. When they put her on the exam/warming table on her belly she just watched everyone around her. She is quite the observer and perfect in every way.

Almost never cries, sleeps well and feeds well.

A couple minutes after birth.
