so last night i woke maybe 4 times with the pulling lightning pain and actually had to "breath deep breaths" to get through it....stomach was tight etc....so this morning i am experiencing some good what i think is braxton hicks. but i have pain only below my belly button and they are comming every 2-3 min..but not lasting more then a min. so i drank a big cup of water...still here, walking brings it on more and sitting it still occurs....so i went and ate a peanut butter sandwhich and some macaroni thinking that maybe im just hungry? and its still here. im confused.next step im gonna try is a shower. useually i can sit and it calms everything.but dont real contractions hurt the entire abdomin? im just worried cause of some of the birth stories i have read....women who think they have time. and my husband is working. so someone talk me into something please lol.....

Hmmm, Im probably not much help b/c I have had those sort of contractions that close together many many times and it does not mean much for me. But for other people it can mean a LOT. Your best bet is to call your doctors office and explain them to them and ask what you should do. GL!

Oh, it's so hard to tell! I say go w/ you feelings on it & if you are having trouble making the decision how serious it is, call the Dr. & see what he/she says. Good thoughts for you!

Any pain that I've ever had with contractions was only below the belly button. Those are the type my dr always wanted me to treat, meaning that I had to take my meds to ward off preterm labor. Even when I was induced with my first, the pain was only down below in the beginning. I say you should at least call the dr.

ahhh im still pg lol so it is nothing just got back from pennys finishing up my shopping now i got cramps in my back GREAT oh well thanks for the advice lol....i will use it next time..i ended up in the shower they continued then my sister called and asked if i would bbsit overnight lol my 2 nephews ones is 6 years old and the other 4 months i got some practice thanks for the good thoughts though
