I just wanted to say I have been on the sk boards since Apr 2003 and by far this group has been the best. I loved my Dec 2005 group but with dh being deployed all the time I had no time to really participate. Anyways I just wanted to let you ladies know I think your great.

This is my first time apart of anything like this. I started on SK when I started my fertility treatment and I have to say I truly LOVE it here. I second you I think all the ladies here are truly amazing and its so great to have such an awsome support network.

awww I too have been on since trying to get pg with TIRZAH!!! I have to say though I'm super scared AFTER we have babies---most of my boards have snapped once everyone has their babies so I end up just quietly disappearing Something seems to happen to all these sweet pg mamas and when issues like pottytraining, discipline, education, etc etc come up--if you aren't 100% mainstream you can get pretty hurt I'm trying to keep an open mind about staying here after our babies our born I just don't have all great experiences.

I love my board buddies too! I have to agree with Janice a bit about how the dynamics of the boards change once babies are actually born and parenting styles are figured out. However, there are some really fantastic ladies out there who are mature enough to let others say their opinions and polietly disagree without the drama that can happen.

I agree! Without this board, this pgcy would have been a lot lonlier for me! And it is nice that we can be adults and not act silly about the opinions of others. Any input is appreciated in a lot of cases!

I TOTALLY agree. SO how do we start a "Were due in May" board to stay together? I posted to the born in April board, and it's the 8th of the month and I'm alone. You ladies are awesome.

I started on the SK boards in 2004 (I think) when I was going through fertility treatments... and I think the ladies on this board are great...but I had good experience with the IVF and the Clomid ladies too.. but by far this is the "closest knit group"... I hope we can all share stories and what we are going through after the babies are born. I think we will be "born in May 2008" board people.
It has been great sharing experiences with everyone so far... I too have cherished it..

I'm super close to my Born in January 05 board...we moved to a private board after our babies were born. I was afraid to spend to much time here at first because I'm so involved with that board, but you guys are just so nice I found myself coming back more and more I've only ever posted on one other board, and I've had a great experience it!

I agree, this board has had no drama! What a shocker! I have been a part of these boards since 2002, when it was still e-pregnancy. My first board, for my July 2003 baby, lived up to their name - Red Hot Mama's and there was a ton a drama, and now it is split up into several smaller private boards. I came back to SK when I got pregnant with Thomas in 2005, and the whole Born in Feb 06 board has moved to a private board, and has had a few issues, but nothing to completely break up the board. Now we have us! I have a hard time getting close to my "new" boards because of what happened to the RHM's but I hope we all stay together!

I joined a different site when I was pg w/ Dessa & believe it or not, I never posted a thing until she was 5 months old! Most of that board is still together & I feel like I know them all (though I've only met 2 of them!)
There have been some fights & dramas, but for the most part everyone gets along.
I'm hoping all you ladies will stick around so we can watch these kids growing - it's such a cool experience....

I agree! I've only been on one other board (my son's) that was June 2005, and we are for the most part still all posting. But, it's rare I think- most boards around my board had some major drama and eventually dissipated. I know I don't post as much as I'd like here, but I can tell there are some great people and am shocked there's been no major drama almost to the point of delivery.
