Im having a down day.... I had a bad dr's appt yesterday (posted on DIJune.... OB rant)... I just really want this all to be over with now

not being a baby i know exactly how you feel....hang in there...take a nice bath with some calgon, start a scrapbooking page...look for something to try to takle your mind off of it for a while....

I'm sorry you are having a rough time Angela...

I read your post on DIJ and I it sounds like that OB is a complete a%$! You do have legit claims and worries and it's too bad that some docs out there can't be more understanding of actual medical issues! Hang in there....it's hard, I know, but hopefully it's going to be over very soon! (((bighugs)))

It's like there's an end in sight... but when??? I tried to get something to look foward to in terms of a date, but he wouldnt even consider it. He said that 38 weeks is too soon. 39 weeks he said would be ok. How can some dr's consider 37 weeks full term and then some at 39 weeks? And it sucks when different docs in the SAME practice have different outlooks... it gets so frusterating!!!

Awww I know how you feel! With my last pregnancy my midwife wouldn't consider anything until 39 weeks even though my Dr before had induced me at 38! Concentrate on the good things and it will all be over soon!

Sorry you are having such a rough time! It will be over soon, although the last few weeks do seem like forever. My doctor won't talk about anything before 39 weeks either. It doesn't make it go by any faster though!

Hang in there. I know it seems like you have been pregnant FOREVER, but you are on the down hill slide and it will soon be over. Good luck!!!!!Hope your day gets better. Sounds like you need some pampering. Go book a pedicure,facial, or massage. That always seems to do the trick when I'm down.

As you know, I'm right there with you... After seriously thinking yesterday was "the day" I am more depressed than ever today. Somehow I have to find the strength to adjust my attitude cause I've still got plenty of time left and I can't be this miserable through it. Its almost over, keep telling yourself that.....its not working for me but maybe for you

Sorry you are struggling. I truly feel your frustration. I am so ready for this to be over and this little one NEVER seems to want to come. I tried to talk to my doctor about starting things next week since I will be over 40 weeks and he said no that he only looks at doing an induction 7-10 days after your due date......GRRRR!!!!! So I am stuck in the line of never knowing too.
