I did it! (Let's hope SO doesn't disown me...)

So with all the talk of 3d/4d ultrasounds lately, I decided to go ahead and book one.

My SO is coming up for a visit next weekend for my birthday (Febuary 10th) and Valentine's Day, so I set up an appointment for Saturday Febuary 9th. I'm so so so very excited. I haven't been able to share a lot with him this pregnancy because he is so far away, so I thought this would be the perfect thing to do together.

The package I chose is 189 + taxes, but comes with the following:

30 minutes of fetal scanning, non-diagnostic
DVD recording of complete scan session
2nd DVD or CD of edited images, video and recorded to music
gender assessment (if requested)
six printed (4 x 6) 3D colour photos in holder
sibling CD and printed 3D images
email photos to yourself, family and friends

The only concern I have is that Josh is going to think it's too pricey, but I figure oh well, it is my birthday and valentine's day and that's what I want to do.

Great gift for yourself! Enjoy it! I've been looking into 3d u/s in the area just to check on the gender(if baby doesn't give a great shot today). The closest is in London, Ontario and they're charging 100$ for a 5 minute gender assessment...a little much just to check for me...but I'm interested to see how yours goes!

Oh brilliant!!! I'm sure he'll be thrilled. We had ours done last sunday and it was awesome. The baby was facing towards my spine at first so I'd to lie on my side to get it to move. It eventually moved but then kept covering its face with its hands. Sooo funny! We got some great pics tho. Still haven't gotten around to posting them here
Anyway Enjoy ur scan!!!!!

awesome how fun!!! I had one booked but ended up in the hospital and just haven't rebooked. Maybe I'll start bugging hubby again!
