I know you have to wait an hour, right? But how long did your whole visit take? Trying to arrange for a sitter & I'm feeling like it may be all afternoon!!
With my visit, I drank it when I got there then had all the regular stuff done and when were done it had been an hour and then had my blood taken and then left. It went pretty quick.
I guess though, it really depends on the dr. office.

I had mine done yesterday. My appt was at 10:30, I drank the drink at 10:45 and then saw my OB and had my blood drawn at 11:45. I was out by 12. So I would give yourself at least a couple hours, considering drive time and stuff.
i go friday ... I only have a lab schedule...since my obgyn is different i have to go to the lab in the center. So, annoying. I would imagine a couple hours would be good.
I just did mine this morning at 8:30 a.m. (on the dot) -- they called me back in at 9:30 a.m. and I got home at 10:30 a.m.
Definitely give yourself a couple of hours....they have to draw within an hour of the drink, but it depends on if they are backed up when you go in?!?!
I think it depends on how your office works. I actually had the drink to drink home and then went to the lab in the building before the appointment to have my blood drawn. Then I went to my OB appointment. It did take longer than normal since I needed to be at the lab with enough time in case I needed to wait (the lab is first come first serve).

I drink it at home and then tell them when I did. Then they take the blood at the 1 hour mark and then I have the rest of my normal visit. But frankly at my office, those take over an hour in the waiting room anyway!
