House cleaning
Hey Ladies,
I few months ago I posted about house cleaning and what had become hard to do. I was wondering what has changed for you in the last few months. Vacuming still makes my back hurt but so does getting up in the morning, I've also given up trying to do anything that I have to bend over for because my back just can't take it.

Re: House cleaning
Everything is getting more and more difficult generally. However (crossing my fingers) I have been ok these last few days b/c I think the baby has changed positions and is no longer KILLING my sciatic nerves. Its only a little painful now, but for a few weeks there it had been so bad I literally could NOT walk. I hope he stays off of it from now on!!
Im just hoping for him to come at this point now that I reached 37 weeks yesturday. I want to meet my little guy and get my body back!
When is your due date Jamie? Are you expecting a boy or girl or surprise??

Re: House cleaning
Well I just cleaned the house this past weekend. Because my parents were coming up. And I have company coming up a few weekends... SO I will clean then too. I have found a few short cuts... That I might keep in my routine. But over the top I am not crazy over it. My living room has it moments. lol
Scrubbing Bubbles works... they make a lot of things for the bathroom that work! Scrubbers...... are great. The best though is the automatic shower. I use it... and my showers are cleaner than they were when I scrub them.... So that short cut I will definitely keep. That works. I like the tiolet bowl scrubbers they make too.... (I used to scrub the tiolets.) So over all I have made everything a little easier for me.
I have a dyson. SO vacuuming isnt a huge tour. THe steps now..whew... I think I just did them this weekend for the first time in a long while!

Re: House cleaning
Washing my floor and laundry are my two worst chores. I keep a pretty clean house, so it is just the daily stuff I keep up on, and the deeper cleaning I leave for once or twice a month now. Yesterday I went on a cleaning bender though. Handwashed my floors, vaccuumed the house, cleaned the boys room up,rearranged Ana's room and put everything away including in her closet, scrubbed the bathrooms top to bottom ( a must since the flooding friday), washed walls, cleaned out my kitchen cupboards and reorganized, cleaned and washed down the fridge, scoured stove top, did 7 loads of laundry, and took the pop bottles in to the recycling centre. Only thing that really bothered me was scrubbing the floors. Being on my knees and folding myself over hurts a bit, but I did not notice until it was about time to get up, then I got a bit of cramping.

Wow I got tired just thinking about doing all this stuff I'm still doing the cleaning, but using a lot of short cuts (Swifer wet jet, Clorox magic reach, etc) and DH helps me scrubbing the bathroom floors and vacuum the stairs

Re: House cleaning
I have struggled to do most things and I have had some help due to the pain. As time progresses I am for sure ready to have my body BACK and be able to do daily tasks again.

Re: House cleaning
I've given up mopping our floors. I just can not do it anymore. DH has taken over this chore. In reality, I'm sick of cleaning period!! Our house is on the market and all I do is feel like I clean all day and I am sick of it!!! I want to hire a cleaning service!!!

Re: House cleaning
Thankfully with DH traveling we hired a service to come in every other week. In between DH helps out a lot - thank goodness!!!
