Default Halo Sacks

What is your opinion of these?? I've never used them with any of my other kiddos and I do live in TX, but I'm wondering if I missing out? Usually, I've always put my babies to sleep in a sleeper t-shirt or onesie and swaddled until they are big enough to wear the footed pj's. Do need one of these??

I have one but IMO they are overrated I too swaddle, then go to footied sleepers. I know alot of people like them, just not for us.

I used them for about a week. I swaddled Kate and when I wanted to stop swaddling her I put her in a sleep sack for a week then just stopped using it. The sleep sacks would be great for a fall baby, I would think because the sleep sack acts like a blanket more than anything else. I know Kate needed to be swaddled tight or else her reflexes would cause her to "jerk" and wake up.

Heather, here is a link to their website. https://www.halosleep.com/

I put some on my registery. I figured I'd give them a try. My room has a big window in it and it gets pretty drafty, so I've been trying to figure out different ways to keep her warm.

I've heard they're great in cooler climates where you don't want to use a blanket with the baby. Or when they get a little older and you don't want them kicking their blankets off.

I didn't use them b/c dd#1 was a summer baby too, and she was very warm-blooded as well. She needed cool pj's. I don't plan on buying them yet for this one either. We'll see if we need it in the Fall.

And actually, two of my friends use them on their babies that are 17 months and 21 months to keep them from climbing out of the crib. The kids can still stand in them but can't try to "escape"!
