Seems kind of weird that it was my last one, since I'm only 37 wks, but my c/s is scheduled for next Tuesday. I can't believe it's only a week away. I'm starting to get a little antsy and excited, but also a little nervous. I really hated getting that epi last time. That was the worst part of the whole thing. There was some drama and scary moments with both of my previous c/s, so naturally, I'm nervous this time. I really want things to go well without the added drama.

The appt today went well, despite the fact that BP was a little high. Baby is head down, not that it matters much, but he can't kick me in the cervix anymore, so that's nice. It always hurt bigtime when he did that. And the nurse said he's a big baby. Dr expects him to be over 8 lbs. which is partly why he wants to do my c/s at 38 wks. We'll see about that. I'm not convinced.

Anyway, that's my update. We are in countdown mode over here.

One week left and you'll be holding your sweet baby. Next week will be my last appt. Can I ask why size matters if you are having a c/s anyway? I'm all for the sooner the better at this point, but that is a funny reason. G/L keep us posted.

Christin, I don't really think size does matter. But both the nurse and the dr have made comments about him being a good size. With the twins, I had over 11lbs of baby in there, plus 2 sacs and 2 placentas, so this time, there should be plenty of room for just one baby. I just think it has more to do with the fact that my uterus has been stretched out so much from the twins, and he doesn't want to risk me going into labor and possibly rupturing my uterus from having hard ctx. That, and it's so much better to have the c/s in a controlled situation vs. me being in labor, and having to round everyone up at who knows what time. That could happen anyway, but I went WAY past due date with my first. So we're hoping nothing happens before the big day.
