Had to move my OB appt over a day
To tomorrow. Yesterday morning KJ woke me up to a huge lake in our bathroom and hallway. The next door neighbours, the same morons who set off the fire alarm a few weeks ago cooking toast, flooded their house overnight. So, it ran through the walls and into our place. Well, yesterday all day we dealt with this hurricane fan blower thing under the carpets drying it, til 10pm. Well, maintenance guy comes in today and starts lifting up the underlay to replace it, and finds out the wetness runs all the way down one side of our hallway. So, now he has ripped up the hallway carpet, taken out the underlay and boards that run under that, and left just the concrete. Hopefully finishing it up today, but it has left the kids stuck in the living room-kitchen area. I had my OB appt today and we were all ready to go when we found out this was a bigger problem than we thought. So, moved it til tomorrow and will go then. Fun times!
