The growth scan went so well! The tech and dr were both so excited by the images it was so funny, apparently my uterus "scans very well" whatever that means. Baby girl is doing great, is 3 lbs and is growing right on schedule (a bit ahead.) Her heart and brain look great and there are still no soft markers for DS. She is super low and head down which is why I feel so much pressure when I stand for a length of time. My MFM dr was a bit concerned, however, that my cervix went from almost 4.5 three weeks ago to 2.4 today. He sent me over to my ob who did an internal exam and gave me Procardia (which I took with my first for three months.) He wants to to go to L&D tomorrow where he will be working for another scan of my cervix, a ffn, gbs test, and a few hours of monitoring. I go back to my MFM dr next Thursday for a follow up. I am supposed to be on bedrest but with three little ones, no family around to help and my husband working 12 hours a day that isn't really going to happen.
