Good News - no news!
So far, so good. No contractions. If it continues like this I will sit here in bed being a human incubator until April 6th. I wish they would let me go home to bedrest, but not happening.
I introduced myself to the March ladies, and they have been sweet, but they are just not my May friends :-( So glad I can use my laptop to keep up with all the flurry of activity - sounds like I got some ladies moving
Today was supposed to be my baby shower and I feel totally fine, so I wish we could have had it. I was really looking forward to that cake!
Tuesday night is my breathing and relaxation class, and it's here in the hospital, so I'm gonna try to talk the doctor into letting me go.... I guess I'll cancel the breastfeeding class on April 18th. I'll be a pro by then (lol).

Re: Good News - no news!
I am sooo happy to hear things are going well. Sorry about being stuck in the hospital that would be so hard but it’s truly the best place for both of you You are doing so great and hanging in there.....I would be going crazy but is awesome that your laptop works in there and you have internet. It’s a great way to pass the time.
Keep hanging in there girly we are all thinking and praying for you and Natalie!!!

Re: Good News - no news!
Yay!! So glad to hear that baby Natalie is staying put for the time being...I'm sure they've made her quite ready for taking her first breath though, huh?!?!
I can't imagine being in the hospital on bedrest....at least you can pass some time away with your computer....unfortunately, I'm sure that gets boring, as well.
Be sure to keep us updated -- I am forever checking on here to see how you are doing!! Continued positive thoughts and prayers for you and your little one!!

Re: Good News - no news!
*Hugs* I know you are probably so anxious but just know that her being able to be inside you is the best, I am sorry you had to miss your shower, you should have just invited them all over the hospital, and maybe they would have brought the cake with them LOL!!

Re: Good News - no news!
I'm so happy to hear she's staying put. I hope she will stay until April. Will you be induced or having a c-section, April 6th? Just wondering why it's that exact date. Sorry to hear about your baby shower. I told Tatum that if she didn't stay put she wouldn't be getting her showers and that seemed to do the trick for me. Thanks for keeping us updated! I log on everyday hoping to hear good news.

Re: Good News - no news!
they'll induce me on april 6th because by then she should be good to go and the risk of infection is too high. right now she's head down, face back like she's supposed to be, so hopefully she stays that way so I don't need a c-section!

Re: Good News - no news!
Hey Sarah,
Glad to hear no news:-) At this point no news is good news. It is great that Natalie has stayed put and things have not progressed. Hang in there girlie!! I know it must stink being on bed rest, but rest up while you can because once Miss Natalie enters the world you will need your energy. Glad to hear all is going well and I hope you and Natalie can hold out until April 6th. BTW, do you scrapbook?? I remember when my best friend was on bed rest we did a lot of scrapbooking in her room and that helped to pass the time.

Re: Good News - no news!
Hi Sarah. I'm sorry you are still stuck hanging out in the hospital, but I am so glad little Natalie is doing so well. Also it's great that you are in a great safe place for her to grow a little more. I'm so sorry you missed your shower. That would be sad. But I hope that your friends will have a big "welcome Natalie" party for you later. Then you will really need the cake!! Keep your chin up post any time. We'll "keep you company!"

Re: Good News - no news!
Sarah, Glad there is good news! Do they check you regularly for infection? Just wondering how that all works. You are a trooper for being in the hospital on bedrest--the longest I was in a hospital bed was when I was induced for DD and that was only 12 hrs. And MAN was I bored!! So, why didn't they bring the shower to you? Too much commotion?
Take care and keep the updates a comin'

Re: Good News - no news!
Every day that goes by is all the better for your little one (as yo know! ) and you are doing such a good job keeping her inside and growing just a little bit longer! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for April 6th! Sorry about the shower- but I agree with the others that say there will just have to be a "welcome Natalie" party with her in attendance instead!
Thanks for the update...hang in there as hard as it is- in just a few days you will be meeting your little girl and quickly taking her home and all this waiting around the hospital will be just a distant memory!

Re: Good News - no news!
ali- they take my vital signs every hour to look for a temperature or rising BP. and are constantly asking about the current consistency of the fluid. I would think they'd be actually examining me to see what's going on in there, but they are trying to avoid an internal because they don't want to disrupt anything.
I couldn't bring the shower here because we had like 40 people coming. ( my mom is quite the party planner lol) so we definitely plan to just postpone it and have a 'welcome home natalie' party
scrapbooking! I wonder if i could get away with that without the lady who comes to sweep the room kicking my butt! hahaha
