I finally ordered my crib...I'm so indecisive...there are so many nice ones out there..but because we don't know the gender I thought some were more "feminine" and of course being female I liked those ones best... The worst thing is..I've waited so long and it can take up to 8 weeks to be delivered... I will be borrowing a bassinet just in case.. I always wanted one but DH thinks we should just put the crib in our room for the first
few months and skip the bassinet all together ...

We bought a convertible crib...and I'm ordering the matching dresser tomorrow (I had to convince DH because it was $900 before taxes) He say's I'm getting carried away.. but I told him we have trying 4 years and have spent so much money on IVF - this is what I want....

I also bought a gorgeous blanket - satin on one side and soft fleecy on the other. It is chocolate brown and cream - it is like zebra prints...I am in love with it (I wonder if they make it in grown up size) - One I figure out how to download pics and put them on here I will first show my secret shower gifts and then my lovely blanket... It's made by Cocola Couture (??) - I LOVE IT... the purple w pink one was beautiful too.. but somehow I don't think it would suit a little boy if I were to have one..*LOL*

Yes, cribs can take a long time to come in. Our crib took 10 weeks (its a Sorelle). Which I love our crib. Its survived two kids so far and one more to stand up too. LOL

Congrats! I hope it comes in a bit early for you. We lucked out with ours as they told us like 12 weeks or something and it was in in about 4 or so. Sometimes they just give you the worst case!

Yep, when we ordered ours they told us 12 weeks and we had it set up in about 5! I kind of liked that they gave me the worst case scenario. What kind of crib is it? We have convertible furniture too and I see it as an investment since you won't need to buy any more for them!

Very nice selection. I love both pieces. I hope they come in soon for you. I also brought lifetime cribs and the matching pieces for DD and DS and have been pleased with both sets so far....well the exception was this weekend when I converted DD crib to a toddler bed. It really ticked me off, but other than that I've been really happy.

The furniture is beautiful! I agree on splurging. We are actually using a crib and changing tab from my niece but otherwise we would have splurged after going through IVF... The funny thing is that the crib we have is nicer than what we would have splurged.

I can't wait to see it all set up!
