Alright for the last week or so I have been getting these cramps that feel like I am going to have my period...which is impossible. But my lower abdomen starts cramping as well as my lower back. It kinda wraps around that area of my body, hips, lower ab, and lower back. Is this normal? I figure they are normal but who knows, this is all new to me. LOL

Anyone else experience this? I haven't had these cramps at all until this last week. Thanks Ladies!!!

I'm not much help. I ended up being hospitalized with what I thought were just "cramps". They were actually contractions. From your description, that's what my contractions feel like. I would put a call into your doctor. If there anything like mine, they'll just tell you to put your feet up, lay on your left side and drink lots of water. I've found though that those really do seem to help when my contractions start up. Sorry you are going through this! Hope they ease up for you!

Thanks Carley! I have been doing a lot of resting and drinking of water, but will continue. I have an appointment Monday so I will bring it up to my Dr. =)

I had a dull ache all day today but not actually cramping like you are describing. I would just take it easy and let your dr know!!

It sounds like contractions to me. I would try to just rest as much as possible and bring it up to your doctor at your next appt, unless they continue. I was just telling my sister tonight, this past week in half I have been getting all kinds of signs of early labor, and I was contracting, cramping just like you described pretty good tonight. I feel ok now, but im still trying to rest and take it easy. I hope you feel better soon.

It may be contractions. From what my dr said, if they are lower in your tummy, they are BH's, but if they are high up, they are the real deal. I would keep what you are doing up unless they get really bad, and either way talk to the Dr ASAP. Good luck!

All I know is that every time I have them the nurses come and stick me with an IV to stop them! Feel your stomach - if it's hard it's probably a contraction. Don't I sound like such a pro HA HA HA !

Sounds like they could also be contractions to me. If they seems to get worse I would call your DR. I remember that is how my felt after my water broke and then they got worse and worse. Try to take it easy and rest and like the other girls said be sure to drink lots of water.

When I told the nurse doing my prenatal classes that I have been having cramps - they are really quick though and no pattern..she said it could be liagements stretching.. but some else told me they could be Baxton Hicks.. I'm sure if I've had BH yet... I agree with the other girls..if its not sporatic and it is consistant call you doctor or go to L&D.... Mention them to your doctor next visit.

I have been having cramps for over a month now....they are so bad at times and very much like my period cramps. I still have some issues telling them apart from the contractions but so far every time I have been check things are ok.....my body is just not reacting very well.

I agree with what everyone else has said. Just take it easy and keep an eye on them and they become regular make sure to call your Dr
