Default Ended up in L&D this afternoon
Well just after 1 today I had really intense pain about 4 inches above my belly button that last 5-8 minutes. It felt like one huge charlie horse. So I made it upstairs to lay down and Bruce called the OB office. They said to go to L&D.

So at L&D they put me one monitors and baby is doing fine. The OB on call came by and at first they were worried about a placenta abruption. But what they think it was is get this GAS! I said well I didn't pass anything and the OB said I didn't need to have such intense pain with my guts smooshed together.

With Conner I thought my water broke early and instead I peed myself. With this baby, I got gas.

I know, thats what they kept telling me. I think because it was so intense and lasted so long, they were really worried I was in trouble. Especially since I have had 2 c-sections and my age.

Oh wow......well I am glad it was not more serious!!!! HOLY MAN....I can relate those little gas bubbles in your abdominal area are so very painful!!!! It’s crazy and does not make sense at least to me but I know I have been in pain, doubled over and thought I was dieing before I got PG and it was just gas bubbles. Sorry you are experiencing it.....it truly is very painful!!!!

oh man, that is really scary. I'm glad you got checked out and were cleared though. That gas can be so painful! You wouldn't believe that's all it is...it feels like you are dying or something. I hope it doesn't come back for you. ((hugs))

O man! Im glad it was nothing serious, but you certainly did do the right thing! Much better to be safe than sorry!
