Icon5 cribs from target?

Anyone buy a crib from target that can tell me what their experience has been? I have my eye on one that is really cute, and I love that they are about half the normal prices but I'm afraid the quality will be low. Anyone know?

TIA

i don't know about their cribs, but i did buy a glider from target and it is shermag, which is a name brand glider and it is great. it has held up really well, and was much cheaper than i saw anywhere else. i would assume that their cribs are the same level of quality. if you look online, they often have lots of reviews.

I suggest looking at online reviews as well. I don't personally have experience with them, but they can't be too horrible. The only thing I'd watch out for with Target is their return policy.

Target has a lot of the name brands that BRU has. We looked there and found one we loved, but it was not in any stores within 100 miles and was back ordered online. We ended up getting a Graco crib from Walmart (shipped for free from site to store) for around $150 and it's just beautiful with great reviews.

Target's return policy is OK as long as you have your receipt, a gift receipt or the credit card used to purchase the item (they can look it up w/ your CC). It's when you DON'T have any of those they screw you.

I don't know what your taste/style is, but if you're looking not to spend a lot, I'd reccommend the Delta Luv Jenny Lind crib at BRU. It's like $119 I think (and you can use coupons for BRU if you have them) and very highly rated in Consumer Reports. My son slept in his for 2 years and it held up great so this baby will be sleeping in it as well. The style isn't my first choice, but for the price and it being well-rated, I went for it and am glad I did. It comes in white or brown wood.
