Cramping
So, I think I posted that last week, I'd been having cramps like AF... ranging from it feels like AF is about to start, to more like moderate/ painful day 2 of AF cramps. When I mentioned it to my OB at my appt. on Thursday, she said I need to decrease my activities, and "no relations". Well, obviously it was hard to slow down with L's party on Saturday, but Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I really scaled back- still cramping- more in the afternoon and esp. at night when I lay down for the day. So, my sister and Kris "reprimanded" me and told me I REALLY need to try just sitting, lying etc. more during the day to see if that resolves it. Yesterday, I let a friend pick Lainey up for a couple hours, and I REALLY took it super easy all day (lots of crafts, coloring, games etc. where I was sitting down) to see if it helped. At first, I thought it did- no cramping all morning at all. Then around 2 pm until the time I went to bed, I had the moderate cramps on and off. It is not coming and going in short spurts like contractions, but just feels crampy like AF for an hour and a half or so at a time. I dont' feel my belly hardening like contractions either. Also, baby is really super low- like I feel it under my underwear when it kicks! Could that be part of it? I don't ever remember feeling L that low. I am going to try another day today of super-relaxing and see. I am thinking if it's not resolved still by tomorrow, I will call and check back in with my DR but I wanted to see what you all think! She scared me by mentioning this could be a precursor to preterm labor... so I am trying to take it seriously but at the same time, I don't want to just sit around if it's not even helping!
