I was cleaning out the catbox tonight and was wondering how many of us on here have them, and of those of us that do, how many clean them? How many have someone else that cleans them? I don't have a choice. With DH deployed, I have to clean ours. But I did with ds2, anyway. Otherwise it never would have gotten done, lol. I just make sure I wash my hands up to my elbows, then use hand sanitizer afterwards.

Well dh mostly cleans it all the time but mainly because he was deployed when I was preg with Isaac and Titus so he owes me.

Dh does it, with some prodding. Its one of my favorite parts of being pregnant.

I do it--Everything I've read says you're more likely to get the bacteria from undercooked meat than you are from cat feces. Plus, I've had cats my entire life, so in all actuality, chances are I got the bacteria when I was younger & my body has built up antibodies against it. Not to mention if you scoop the box right away (I do it every day) then there isn't even time for that particular bacteria to form.

Yeah, I know I sound smart, but it's all my husband! lol He's a biologist.

My husband cleans it. Now if its the middle of the day and Beethoven has made a mess and not covered it up, I will scoop it out.

My DH cleans the liter box...maybe not as often as I'd like him to, but atleast he does it! When he's out-of-town, one of my friends come over and clean it out for me.

I put no, because I no longer have a cat, but have in previous pgs. Then my ex did it. They have a blood test that they can run to see if you are immune or not. If I had to do it I think I'd use gloves.
