Appointment today and Yoda..

I went in for my appointment today and had to take my kids. Usually I leave them with my sister but her daughter was throwing up all night so I decided to take them with me.
I had to take the kids into the restroom with me so I could pee in the cup and dd thought I was nuts! lol
They took my blood pressure which was 100/60. At first she almost said 100/80 but I THOUGHT she said 100 over 8! I was like WHAT!??
I have gained 24 lbs like I thought. UG, but I was expecting it and I tend to gain just about what week I am so for me, Im right on track. LOL
My uterus is measuring right where it should which is good b/c last time I was measuring several weeks ahead but I really think that it was his position at the time.
His heartbeat was in the upper 130's. DD was so excited about hearing his h/b and sat right up by me on the table to listen. She had a HUGE grin on her face. It was so sweet!
After I got out dh called me and told me that a customer of his gave him a life size statue of Yoda. My dh is a big star wars fan and his customer found out so he gave it to him b/c he said he needed to get rid of it. So dh took it home and put it in our walk in closet.
Well, I forgot about it. A few hours later I went walking into my closet and about had a heart attack! It totally freaked me out! He is holding light saber and everything. LOL
Needless to say, my kids didnt really like the statue either b/c they are about the same height as that thing!

LOL! A huge Yoda would freak me out anyday! Glad you had a good appt! I've BTDT with DD and peeing in a cup...did she ask questions?

O yeah, I forgot to say about that. Usually if I take her to the restroom with me I tell her to turn around so mommy can be private but I was so busy trying to pee in the cup and keep ds from touching anything in the public bathroom I forgot.
I told her that they had to test the pee pee to make sure everything is fine and she was ok with that answer. It was just before I told her why that she thought I was nuts! lol

Glad you had a good apt. I love when siblings get to hear the hb - it's too cool. I can't imagine fitting 2 kids in the bathrooms at my ob office - they are teeny-tiny!
Too funny about Yoda in your closet!
