Icon5 Anyone used the Medela PIS with the Playtex drop in system?

I'm torn on which pump to buy, because I want to use the Playtex drop ins, but the reviews on the Medela PIS are better than the ones on the Playtex Embrace pump... Any advice????

I did with Thomas, and it worked great. I pumped into the bottles that came with the Medela, then dumped it into the Gerber bags, and used the Gerber bags instead of the drop ins, just pull them over the bottle like the regular liners. I plan on using the same pump I used with him, and this same system.

Thats what I did. I have a PISA (from 2004). I pumped into the Medela bottles then transfered to Gerber bags for freezing.

Yep same here I have the PIS and did the same (dumped into the bags for freezing, but I think I used a diffrent brand). I love my PIS. I've never used the playtex, but when I worked at the hospital the PIS (only hospital style) is what we used for all our mommas. It is the brand most hospitals use.

I have the new PnS and the drop-ins. Playtex has an adapter that screws into the pump and the bottles. I got one in my premium Playtex Nurser gift set and I'm definitely going to buy more.

Here's the item.
