Today was Anna's OB appointment and her cardiologist results and such. She had asked about getting TPN since it's safer for the baby to be born full term rather than premature due to lack of nutrition, especially if he has OTC Deficiency to deal with besides. They looked into it and determined that the protein level provided by TPN is too high to be safe for her. Anna was hospitalized today and is on glucose IV and a heart monitor for now and they are trying to stabilize her nutrition. She's gained 1/2 pound in the last 4 weeks, and that was including the weight of the heart monitor (about 1/2 pound), so she hasn't had any gain.

She didn't say much today but sounds like she may be released tomorrow if they can get things worked out with eating (so she can hold something down). Not sure how the cardiologist appointment turned out.
