37 week appt

So....... I had my 37 week appt today and I don't think this kiddo has any plans on making his debut soon. There is nothing going on down there..nada..zilch..blah
The dr said that if my cervix has made some progress on Monday I will be admitted that night for an induction. At first I was against induction since Im not swelling like I did with Logan but when the Dr said Dylan is already bigger than Logan was at birth it didn't sound like such a bad idea

So we shall see what Monday brings. I may ask for another week if I haven't made much progress on Monday. I am gonna go for a long walk tonite and maybe try DTD even though that's the last thing on my mind....

So it looks like May 13th may be Dylan's bday - even though I wanted to avoid that day

I dont' want his bday to fall on Friday the 13th later on in life

I know..lame excuse

ah that is a bummer...but nice you get to meet you guy a little earlier.... Hey if you dont like may 13th... ask if he will wait a day. Tell him. lol I would. lol

I would wait a day however that is my father in laws bday and I def don't want him born on that day

I might wait a whole week all together if Im not progressing by Monday. I just got back from a super long walk..had a few BH while walking but none once I got home..

Sounds like your little man has his own schedule he is keeping. Never know, maybe he wants to be your mommy's day gift. lol Good luck with getting things started. DH has been on the ball with dtd... seriously, it is like he thinks it will never happen again. I am getting worn out and ready to do whatever it takes to get her out, just for the few weeks break. LOL

Sorry you do not like the day its happening on. I personaly LOVE the number 13....LOL...but I am an odd ball.

Its coming up fast though so that is exciting. I hope things happen on there own before then for you.

If it makes you feel any better, with my first DS I had an OB appt at 4pm. She checked me, I was sealed up tight and not even thinned out yet. She told me I had atleast another week to go, possibly more. At:

1am- water broke and contractions started
2:30am- arrived at the hospital
8am- Dr arrived (she took her time because she thought I had a ways to go, seeing as she saw me the night before and I had no progression, plus it being my first baby)
9:05am- ds was born

So, ANYTHING is possible!!!

I think May 13th is a great date, that's my wedding anniversary lol

Hang in there!! I hope he comes before the 13th!!! You never know when things will kick into action so it just might be sooner than you think!!!!
