I just got home from my OB appointment. Everything with the baby is great. She is hitting her marks and growing well....last time she was 1 week ahead and this time she is only 0.5 weeks ahead but the doc is very happy with that. I have however LOST some weight….ARG….its only 1lb but I though for sure I would be up this time. This weight things has been so hard and is making me worry a bit BUT my doc reassured me that as long as the baby is growing and done fine its ok. So I am officially only up 9lb now. Her heart is strong and she was moving around like crazy and kicked the doc a few times.....hehehehehe. My blood pressure was nice and low and over all things are good.

They check my cervix due to my cramping and contractions.....GOOD news it’s still nice a tightly closed and long!!! Wooo hooo!!! BUT I have been put on mandatory rest not just modified rest and after this week of part time work the doc wants me completely off. I knew it was coming so it was not a shock and had been planning on being off soon anyway (just happened a bit early but that’s ok). He wants to make sure I do not go into preterm labor so I am to actually lie down more then sit and of course no doing anything strenuous.

I also had to have more blood work done as they want to see if I have had any success in raising my iron levels.....wish me luck....I hope I do not have to progress to the injections.

Soo all and all a good appointment......now I officially get to rest rest rest. HOLY MAN I am going to get board. LOL

Sounds like you had a good appointment. I think I owuld die if they put me on bed rest. I hope your iron levels are good and you dont need injections.

So glad your appointment went well!! Am I the only one jealous of your bed rest? I am SOOOOO tired!! hee hee. Seriously, I know it will be hard for you, but know that it is best for you and baby. I hope the time passes quickly for you. Hope you have a laptop too so you can keep "talking" to us!

ah.... well over all it went well... sorry about the bedrest.... it is a pickle. I hope not to get that at 30 weeks! I just couldnt....lol
