Hi; and let me start by saying how thankful I am for prayers and people that believe in them! My name is Christina and I am eight weeks pregnant. I was diagnosed with a Sub Chronic Hemorrhage two weeks ago and I have been on strict bed rest since. When I saw my OB last he gave us no comfort or good news. He only said that we have to just wait and see if this pregnancy takes. I have my second ultrasound tomorrow morning and I am scared to death to say the least. I never thought that when I see my baby for the first time that it will be under these terms. I called my doctor this morning because I woke up feeling a little wet so I went to the bathroom and found a lot of brown blood and a little red blood. After I used the restroom I saw three blood clots in the toilet the size of grapes and they were a dark black red. I was hoping my doctor would want to see me today but he only said to stay in bed, think positive and we will see how things look on the ultrasound in the morning. I am trying to think positive and stay upbeat but it is so hard sometimes. My husband and I were trying to have a baby for the past two years and had a miscarriage a year ago {I was two weeks pregnant} our OB final put me on fertility drugs to help which it did but now we are having to deal with this. Please pray that my Sub Chronic Hemorrhage will heal, that it will not affect my pregnancy and that my baby will grow strong and healthy. You, your husband and baby will deffinatly be in my prayers. We going through a rough pregnancy after a preemie loss right now so do know what its like. Just remember, God will never put you through anything you can't handle w/ his help.

You & your baby are in my prayers, i also wanto to tell you what has happened to me (maybe it will give you a little more positive in this pregnancy)

1st pregnancy: I bled really bad,in the beginning and was given the threatened miscarriage diagnoses,had preclampsia real bad but delivered a healthy 7lb boy.

pregnancy#2: I had also bled and had a blood clot in my uterus(if it grew it would crush the baby) and wasthen diagnosed with partial placenta previa and on her edd came a healthy,chunky 8lb girl.Also had preterm labor and was on terbutiline for 4weeks.

pregnanyc#3:bled again for a few weeks,was told i had a threatened abortion(pissed about that terminolgy),i then had 2 blood clots in my uterus and my son was 7lbs12oz and healthy.Went in to labor at 28wks,turbutiline for 6 weeks.

pregnanyc#4: I had no bleeding, no sickness and had a missed miscarriage at 11wks.

Preganancy#5: bled at 6wks,diagnosed with subchorionic hemmorage,8wks had big clots dark brown, 11 1/2wks was diagnosed with complete placenta previa.
I am 20wks now and have been on pelvic rest since 6wks,i also have high risk for incompetent cervix so i am watched closely, i hope and pray i hold on for the next 10 weeks.
I wanted to let you that even though things seem like the worse, you can still bring that baby home.
I thought i m/c when i saw those clots,i ordered a heart doppler and heard the h.b at 9wks,,,,It kept me sane until i could start feeling movement.

First of all, let me say that you and the little peanut are in my prayers.

I was just where you are about 2 weeks ago. I was almost 10 weeks when I went to the bathroom and when I wiped, there was a whole lot of blood. The toilet water was bright red and I too, had pretty large clots. I panicked and ran to my mother upstairs, used that bathroom and, more blood. My mom called an ambulance and well, to shorten it up a bit, they said that I was having a Threatened Abortion. My doctor also ordered strict bed rest and didnt have much more to tell me. He just said that we had to wait and see and well, here I am now, only 2 weeks later and the baby is perfectly fine. I too had my first ultrasound under pretty bad circumstances but everything turned out fine. Hopefull my story will shine a little light on the situation.
