so I'm spotting...I spotted on Sat, a little..I thought it was from Bd'ing..you guys I don't spot pre or post o...so I don't know. I usually O so late..so I thought I was in the clear w/BD'ing..we have been abstaining during the fertile window.

Also dh is doing all the weigh in stuff and medical and picture stuff for dropping his WO package...I hope he gets picked up, then we don't have to do recruiting.


So I called the hospital to ask them about the bone scan...I also asked for a copy for my own records. She asked for the Mayo's fax #...I said I have so many #'s written down..let me call them...so I call..the Mayo said on the 23rd, wed..they requested for the hospital to fedex the films...after rcving the bone scan report...so now I'm nervous again..I already know that they saw hot spots...uggh...so stressed..Jim is running the desk and super busy and can't talk. But the Mayo still hasn't received the bone scan films, they requested it to be fedexd...

Barbara at the Mayo said she will call me back after she calls YRMC...

Update: okay, she just recieved the scans from the fedex trip..she's putting it on his desk and said he'll call me either tomorrow or the next day.

oh sweetheart i can only imagine the anxiety you must be going through right now. sending the biggest hug over the atlantic. Let us know once you Dr contacts you ok. You have been so strong through all this xoxox

well I haven't spotted since I wrote that post.

did want to let you know..I called the doc today..his receptionist..said he was in surgery all day yesterday and has 3 surgeries today...she will have him call me either at a breaking point between surgeries or after 5p..she said she will try to have him call me before the weekend.

The doc called back: I have a lot of bone detoriation..especially around the bone tumor..this is a sign that it could be malignant..he wants me to come in. So I have to wait until monday to schedule the appt.

He did say he wants to inject a lidocaine in my knee joint to see if that is indicative of where my pain is...but we are discussing..biopsy/surgery.

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully you will know more in the next few weeks. Please let us know how your appt goes. Maybe the injection will help with some of the pain. I think a biopsy and surgery sound like a good idea so they can get the ball going and get you better soon.

So I just hurt my shoulder last night...

Well, I was sleeping..I've been so tired lately too..I was sleeping and then I jumped in my sleep, either bad dream or the fact that I drifted to sleep so fast..I don't know...but I jumped so hard off the bed..I landed on my shoulder all weird..so now my shoulder, back, neck and arm hurts..just like it did last year...

It's jim's b-day and the superbowl today!!!

But I think I might go to urgent care, it hurts.

well I went to urgent care yesterday before the big game...I have muscle spasms, strained the muscles in my neck/back/shoulder...I told her how much pain I was in...she gave me a shot of Toradal (my new fav drug). It helped so much w/my leg pain..it was so nice to barely feel the pain in my leg...I haven't been pain free for a long time...

She gave me an rx for lortabs and Flexeril (muscle relaxer).

I have an appt for the Mayo clinic on the 12th.

Aww hun I am so sorry that you have hurt yourself. You really have been through enough already. I am glad they gave you some pain relief so that at least that eases some of your leg pain for you. I hope your Dr is wrong about the tumor being malignant, cant they see you any sooner? I would be an absolute mess at the moment, how are you coping?? I really wish I could be there to help you through all this, do you have a lot of support at the moment??

Finally a biopsy is scheduled the 27th of Feb...

It's a Cat Scan guided needle biopsy..I will be awake..but they will give me some drugs for anxeity and I won't feel my leg at all..it's a 45 min procedure...

The biopsy results take 2-5 days to come in...then we will schedule the surgery to remove the tumor. He just wants to see if the tumor could possibly be malignant..since there are some indicators that it could be..due to the pain I'm in...and the bone detoriation..but it is non-aggressive..so if it is malignant.it would be low-grade. But he will remove it no matter what in March...so yay..the thing is that Jim is going to WTI in March and April..starting the 12th..he said not to worry about it...I can't wait until they remove this tumor, it's so painful and I just want my life back.
