I wasn't sure where to start, and some of you may be familiar with me from the IVF board...
I've been dealing with Endo since my teens... had four laps for "housecleaning." One of those I got my tubes tied but to my surprise the endo returned! I thought it was retro grade menstrual flow, how can it come back if it's all sealed up in there?? My doc said it may have been too small to see during third surgery. He also commented that it was VERY deep, in fact he was surprised I hadn't been in a couple years sooner! (I told him I know what happens to women that complain too much... hysterectomy! Just because my uterus isn't currently occupied, it doesn't mean I'm not using it!)
I'm stage II, but I wonder if it's only stage II because they keep lysing it?? I have recently read some stuff on another board I was lurking around that has me a bit worried. Something about auto immune disorders related to this... What's that about??
Is anyone else in the same boat?? Had to have endo lysed again after a TL??
DH, myself and Doc are talking about an endometrial ablation after baby so I can get some relief. I get dry heaves from my seat belt during my period!
Any input is welcome.
Thanks!
