Endo sucks stage III & IV chatty thread!!

Guess I can join you ladies too. I have stage iv endo along w/ pcos and thyroid. Our lo is an ivf baby I know some of you already. I don't post much there but I read most if not all the posts.


I have been wondering for those of you who have had a baby if you noticed that your symptoms go better or worse? I thought that they would get better but I think that they are worse now then before I had my surgery and my little one (lo).

As for the weekend. Nothing to exciting. Laundry and stuff that I don't get to during the week.

Hey Jenni! I have only had the one PPAF and it was great (if there can be such a thing as a great af LOL) Mind you my pain went after the lap I had in 2005 so I have been pretty lucky there. I will keep my fingers crossed that it remains that way but Im sure it wont. Im sorry to hear your pain is worse. Are you looking at getting a lap done to help?

Hi Jenn I know you from the IVF board...welcome and your lo is a cutie I don't have any advice on the PPAF but hopefully more ladies will join and chime in. It's great to have you here.

Bri - My lo is eight months. We also have 14 yr old ( my husbands niece ) who lives with us.

I haven't been back to see the dr. about it since my lo was born but I thinkI might have to. I'd say about 2 wks out of the month the pain is so sever that it can double me over. I think that I have been putting it off because I'm afraid it's bad enough now that they might tell me I cna't have another lo, especially after the preg that we had. I know better to know now then later but I don't even want to hear it. Besides even if they decided that I need another lap there is no one right now to help me w/ my lo while I recover for a few days. I am goingot give in and call to make the dr appt. It was bad enough last night that I didn't even sleep.

Jenn-sorry you are having pain..endo sucks!!! I hope you get to go to the doctor and see what's going on. Again welcome to the endo board. what's going on with your DN? Is she doing better? I kinda know the story, but I lost track of things. Hope to get to know you better.

I made the apptment w/ my primary care dr and got in today. U/S scheduled for monday am and follow-up is on thursday.

To make a long story short w/ dn here is the update i posted on the other board.

They denied my dh emergency leave and so he will be home at this point some time in April. They were trying to send him home on R&R in mid Feburary but why at this point the emergency is over. I have things under control. At this point I may need him more in April then now.

Things finally started coming together yesterday. I talked to Cass's caseworker at the ins company and they said that they will allow her the full 150 days of treatment and garunteed me that they will not pull funding until she is out. That puts us to the end of March or around the first of April. I also received a call from from DHS abouthte Medicaid that wasn't suppost to even have been looked at till April and guess what she is now covered as of yesterday. So that means that when your ins doesn't cover anymore then Medicaid will kick in. So I guess that this all means that we may not have to place her in the care of DHS after all (thank god). As long as things keep going like they are then I think I might survive this.

Last week I was ready to throw in the towel. I just couldn't take anymore. But it is a new week and I am just taking it one day at time. Did I mention that I love her caseworker atthe ins co. He even set us up w/ a few of the programs that the military provides to help make sure that the child's needs are being looked out for. Not only did he do that for Cass but he also set it up to help w/ Zach.

OH and most important she has now had 8 really great days and is back to her old self. It s really weird. But I am very thankful. She did her physcial w/ the pd ysterday and did great. She also said that the reason that she lied to the pd about what hadn't happened was she was afraid that the perp would come and hurt her. She has now told the nurse who did the exam and a few others that can testify about what she has said. She feels like she is ready to tell now becasue she is ready to stand up against the perp who hurt her. I expect to have some more downs but at least if there are more ups now then downs I can deal.

Jenni: I'm a U.S Marine wife...let me know if you need any help w/military stuff..I know quite a bit..or I know of some wonderful sites that can help.

To answer your question about endo after baby..mine got worst...and the endo pain started when she was about 4 months old. I b/f for a year..and didn't have a/f..just really horrible cramps..I even went to the ER a couple of times..my gyn wanted me to stop b/f and do the Lupron shot..my dd didnt' want to stop b/f...a couple weeks after b/f I did do the Lupron shot..It was horrible..the worst pain ever..I had a seizure and went to the ER twice...lived off of Morphine and Vicodin...then my dh went to Iraq Sept 06, so I went on bcp's..hated those..since I was having a/f every month..never had that before...but after bcp's..I get a/f every month..my body is strange...after dh came home the end of march..I had such a horrendous a/f Easter weekend..that I went to my gyn..he did another lap in May..I was told that it was worst then my lap in 04.

By the way..I'm not ttc anymore...they found a bone tumor in my right fibula in Oct 07..I'm living off of pain killers once again..I'm in the works of getting a diagnosis..hopefully not cancer..it keeps on popping up..I'm going to start another thread here in a minute about my day about my bone scan...Hope this helps.
