Default Re: Endo buddies chatty thread

So, there was a closing "snag" today, and we are probably going to have to close on Monday. I am so ticked off. We were going to paint tomorrow and get other stuff done so my stepson and I could move things in this week, which is the only time he (my stepson) has since he is on vacation the week after that. Now George is going to have to take MORE time off work so that we can do it on Monday after completing closing. Apparently, anyway, the seller took out a second mortgage, which has been paid off and for which he supplied a receipt, but that isn't enough for the title company. They need a letter of satisfaction. Well, they can't seem to get it even though they have been working on it since this morning. So, now we are running out of time for it to happen today, although we still have to sit around and wait for a call. Closing was supposed to be at 10:30 this morning! Plus, our rate lock expires today. They have managed to get a free extension through Monday, but after that it will go up a 1/4 point... which we will NOT pay for... the SELLER will since it is HIS fault. And, oh yeah, the power switch-over was today, so we are now paying the gas and electric for a house we do not yet own. Oh, I am so upset. Anyway....

Janay-- Whoa!! Good luck with the move! We moved from Baltimore to Seattle once. It was a big change. We came back, but now we both kinda wish we had stayed. lol
Thank you for the update and the kind words.

Krissy-- I am so sorry I missed the big event!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jen-- Thanks! Well, less time isn't necessarily good, but school is.

Brie-- Thank you, hon. It is really hard still. Poor little guy. I miss him so much! DH does too.
Sorry about Oliver's surgery and, umm, complication. I am relieved that it shouldn't cause any issues, though!

Victoria-- Sorry I wasn't here to meet you originally! Glad your appt went well and you are on your way! Oh, and yes, all docs ARE vampires!!! lol Some people say the stupidest things.

Hi everyone:

victoria: yay for a good appt!!! it's moving along...

Carrie: we had the same issues but it was the VA loan that messed us up...closing on a house never goes as you think it will. we got in our house a week later.

Well, I did that water exercise class, it was fun...I got a disturbing letter...my water co..sent me an overusage letter....saying I've used over 75 K gallons of water...so now, they have to come and test it and replace it...the thing is we went thru this 4 years ago....my water bill is going to suck next month...and we pay so much on our water bill as is.

Well, great. Now it might be next Friday before we close. I am just quite out of sorts. ARGH!!!!!!

Jen-- That might be what happend with us. It is so frustrating. I have done everything I was supposed to, why hasn't the seller? And he is the one that wanted the earlier date!!!
The water class sounds like fun. Sorry about the water bill...

Janay-- Wow, that's a lot of moving! I think the key to a big city is finding a neighborhood you like and getting to know that first. Then you can build from there. Oh, and act like a tourist at first! That's what we did when we moved to Seattle. It made it a lot more fun when we first got there. Then we got the lowdown on other places and things to do once we had a chance to meet a few people.
Woohoo on having the computer back! Good luck with the search!!

Well, it is a tiny little thing with no basement, but it sits on a 1/4 acre, so there is breathing room. It has a recently renovated kitchen and a lot of recent updates to the hvac and electrical. It has seriously ugly blue carpet in the living room, but we can't get it replaced just yet. We are thinking that, when we are ready, we will put down hardwood flooring instead of carpet, and we want to do that in the living room and bedrooms (3, all of which are on the small side). It has a sunroom that we are using as the living room; the living room with the ugly carpet will be the office/dining room/library... we have a LOT of books, and it was the only room with enough wall space for all of the bookcases! I will have to post pics once we move in and I get a chance to take and then upload them. As soon as we can manage to close on the dang thing, we will be in and painting right away, and George has to build a platform for the washer and dryer. We also have to add some bars and change up the inside of the closet, because there is only 3 linear feet of hanging room in the current MBR closet. Who ever thought THAT was enough???? So, anyway, I am continuing to pack a little each day and wait around for the call that we can actually close that day. It is looking more and more like Friday. At least the seller has signed the addendum that he is apying to extend our lock with the mortgage company.

Hey guys!! s Sorry I've been a bit out of the loop for a little bit. I went home to visit family and try to relax.

So...Ummm..Yea...

I haven't been feeling well for the last week. Knowing I needed to start the meds to make my AF come, I decided I needed to do one thing....

I tested last night, saw a faint, tested again today and it is there. I'm a bit overwhelmed..and not sure how I feel. Other than DH, you guys (My SK family) are the only ones that will know..especially with my track record!! I called my doctor, and he wanted to see me immediatly, so had to go get my blood work, but won't hear until Monday!! I didn't even get af after the surgery, I'm soooo confused. Maybe the surgery opened the tubes for me, but who knows how lucky I'm going to be. I'm feeling a bit hesitant! I want to and but I'm afraid to have the heartache again...how do I just let go and enjoy! I guess once we get more news! But thought I would share with you all!!

I guess I won't be starting the IVF treatments just yet, don't ya'll agree!

Janay- Well, at least you have plenty of time to pack!

Victoria- That's fantastic news!!! Wishing you lots of luck with your next beta!

As for me, had my SHG done yesterday, and all looks fine, so when AF gets here in 3-5 weeks, we will do a fresh blast cycle. I hope it finally does the trick. We are about out of tricks up our sleeve.
So, after going the last week and half, we are finally closing tomorrow (well, technically today in the next couple of minutes...lol)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH and I are just and we have to go spend tons of money tomorrow on a washer and dryer and paint and other random stuff that we need. Busy days ahead!

Congrats Victoria!!!!!!!!! That is wonderful!

Carrie - I am keeping everything crossed for you!

Janay - I have missed you too. Thanks for making me feel loved!

Hello to everyone!

I am so busy getting ready to move, building a house, running after a toddler, keeping Audrey happy, breastfeeding ( holy crap it is a lot of work), cleaning, cooking, working, and finding time for hubby. I hardly have time to breathe. I think about you ladies all the time. I will try to pop in more often. I will post pictures when I can. Audrey is smiling and cooing, it is so cute. She can't grow up! She is 2 months now! It goes way too fast.

I love you girls,

Krissy

Janay - Only 5 more days till July! You will be finding that new place very very soon!!

Krissy - Yay for the new house!! I can't wait to hear all about it, and how Audrey is enjoying it!!

Carrie - I totally agree with Janay! I think a blast cycle will do the trick!

Alright ladies...

So, after 24 hours of worry, the results are in. The nurse yesterday had me in a tizzy all day. When I got there, she told me this should be my last draw before I'm back to zero. HUH! I told her I had already returned to zero after the ectopic and she said "Oh, well 25 is not good and probably means a not viable. Don't be surprised if it doesn't increase like it is suppose to." Then some more negative stuff. You don't tell someone who has had 5 pg losses that stuff!! Well...

I get to stick it to her now!! I'm at 147!! I more than doubled twice like I needed to!! I go tomorrow for my next draw. Could I really be this lucky this time!!
