The pop princess' stay at the UCLA Medical Center psychiatric hospital was to end today and doctors have determined she needs another 14 days of care. California law dictates that medical professionals may forcibly keep a patient under care of mental health doctors if the individual is determined to still be a potential threat to themselves or others.
