A picture is emerging from Britney Spears’ life in the last few months and it is not pretty.

Jamie Spears was granted continued control over the singer’s welfare and estate today by a Los Angeles court. The 72-hour hold that had been granted on February 1 has been extended to Valentine’s Day. The court also requested further medical evaluation of Britney during that period to have a more sound assessment of her condition to consider the possibility of release to private care.

Jamie was successful in getting Britney’s so-called manager away from his daughter legally with a court issued restraining order during that February 1 hearing. Now that he’s out of the way, her inner circle is painting a scene of his influence over her life that is both scary and cruel. Sam Lofti is being accused of drugging Britney during their time together.
