Well, it started off pretty good this weekend - Claire and I were on the front page of the paper in the Mother's Day edition! I had taken the kids (yes, all FOUR!) to the park on Wednesday, and there was a photog there, and here we are ( I can't post the pic here, they copyright their pics...):

The top pic was the HUGE front page pic for the weekend edition of our paper (benefits to living in a small-ish town, huh??) Unfortunately, the article is really kinda sucky, but I don't care, I was on the front page! lol...
The funny part is that I'd sunscreened up the kiddos at home before we left, and Claire rubbed it in her eyes, and she was just CRYING for 2 hours straight, I washed her eyes out like 15 times to no avail... you can kinda see her eyes are red in the pics. Great Mommy, huh?
Saturday, DH and I took our kids to lunch at Red Robin. A RESTAURANT! It went relatively well, and we actually survived the meal! The good thing about Red Robin is the endless fries - we order a refill as soon as we sit down so there's food to keep them occupied. Zack was pretty good, Chloe slept the whole time, and the girls were manageable. Woohoo! It was a success!
On Sunday, my Mother's Day treat was to go to brunch with my friends, so I did that (all the dads were being butts about us 'leaving' on Mother's Day... WTF, isn't it OUR day to pick what we want to do??? OK, enough about that...). DH got me some items I've been wanting (a new shower head and bath stuff, lol... I told him I wanted that or a ceiling fan, hehe). Then I came home and didn't really do much. All in all, an OK day... my new siggy pic is from when Chloe & I were leaving for brunch (not ready to leave her home just yet...). She was a good girl and slept the entire time.
Hope everyone else had a fabulous Mother's Day, especially you first-timers! The best part of my day was when Claire came into the bedroom to wake me up and said "Happy Day-Day!" It was so cute...
